Payroll Specialist (f/m/d)

In this role, you will be part of a professional HR environment where accuracy, reliability, and a strong service mindset are key. You will work at the interface between employees, HR, and Finance and play a significant role in ensuring smooth and efficient payroll‑related processes. At the same time, this position offers opportunities for professional development, increased responsibility, and a long‑term perspective to grow into a Team Lead role within Payroll.
Tasks
- Independent and timely preparation, execution, and review of payroll for our employees in Austria
- First point of contact for employees, managers, and external partners regarding payroll tax and social security matters
- Responsibility for statutory reporting and certification requirements as well as communication with authorities and public institutions
- Maintenance and administration of employee master data, ensuring a high level of data quality
- Preparation of HR statistics and reports
- Support during internal and external audits (e.g. payroll audits)
- Close collaboration with HR colleagues as well as regular exchange with Finance and Controlling
- Participation in payroll‑related projects
- Continuous improvement and optimization of internal processes
Skills
- Extensive, multi-year experience in payroll accounting combined with comprehensive knowledge of Austrian tax, labor, and social security law; knowledge of German labor, tax, and social security law is an advantage
- SAP knowledge is an advantageConfident user of MS Office
- Very good German skills and good English skills
- Structured, reliable, detail‑oriented, and discreet working style
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment

The minimum gross salary for this position is € 3.748,13 per month on a full-time basis. We offer a compensation package that significantly reflects your skills and experience.
