Key Responsibilites/Tasks
- Prepare and review of consolidated financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (such as IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures related to consolidation activities; ensure adherence to these policies and provide guidance to subsidiaries.
- Oversee intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany balances between subsidiaries during the consolidation process.
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls over the consolidation process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data.
- Maintain any changes in the consolidation system (change or create hierarchies, new accounts, cost centers, FX rates, etc.).
- Take part in analytical exercises to support business decision-making, including but not limited to ad-hoc cost optimization initiatives and investments.
Skills
- University level education with focus on Finance and/or Economics
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Advanced Excel skills
- Advanced English Language Skill and a basic knowledge of German
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
- Proactive and responsive
- Excellent communication skills
Advantageous:
- Experience in Audit / Consulting in a globally recognized firm (Big 4)
- Financial Professional Qualification (ACCA, CIMA or similar)

The minimum salary for this position is € 3,500.00 gross per month on a full-time basis (38.5 hours). A significant overpayment in line with your qualifications and experience is a matter of course for us.
